Early Life

Kelly Michelle Osbourne was born on 27 October 1984 in Westminster, London. Michelle grew up travelling with her father as he went on tours. Her early life was scarred by her father’s swings between sobriety and addiction. 

Family    

 Kelly Osbourne was born to Sharon, her mother and Ozzy, her Father.  Her mother, Sharon, is of Irish and Jewish descent. Kelly is the second of the three children in her family. Her elder sister’s name is Aimee while her brother is Jack. Kelly also has two half-siblings from her Dad’s first marriage. Their names are Jessica Hobbs and Louis John Osbourne.  Her maternal grandfather was Don Arden (Harry Levy), an English music manager.

She became popular when she appeared on her family reality show, The Osbournes. The show aired from 2002 to 2005. Her family won a 2002 Emmy Award for Outstanding Reality Program. After her appearance at the reality show, Kelly Osbourne appeared in movies and TV programs.

In 2002, Kelly Osbourne released her debut solo album Shut Up, receiving mixed critical reviews. In September 2003, a new record label re-launched Kelly’s Shut Up album. It was a remake of the Black Sabbath ballad that featured a duet with her father, Ozzy. In June 2005, Shut Up’s follow-up, titled Sleeping in the Nothing, was released. Her popular songs include; Shut Up, Papa Don’t Preach, Changes, and One Word.

Kelly Osbourne has appeared in different stage and film works. She was also featured on Dancing with the Stars, where she took the third position with her dance partner Louis van Amstel. On 7 October 2004, Osbourne made her debut as an actress with a starring role on Life as We Know It. In 2005, there were stupid rumours that Osbourne would quit her music career, although she denied the allegations.

In the Disney XD animated series The 7D, Kelly Osbourne was the voice of Hildy Gloom. In 2019, she was featured in the second season of The Masked Singer as “Ladybug”.

Remember, Kelly is also a fashion designer. As a fashion designer, Kelly Osbourne launched her fashion line, Stiletto Killers, in 2004; it was shut down in 2006.

On 1 September 2009, Osbourne launched her first autobiography, Fierce. She also started writing a weekly column that same September giving advice and celebrity gossip in UK magazine Closer.

She has, among others, hosted events such as Miss USA 2011, Miss USA 2012. The celebrity was the guest judge for the Season One Episode Four of Project Catwalk in February 2006. Kelly also hosted seasons 2 and 3 of Project Catwalk and E!’s Fashion Police.
